About the Job

In this global function, the technical coordinator supports the execution of the industries´ strategy. He / she supports the industry manager and “Customer/Sales” organization with fabric and fabrication selection (“solution”) and is the globally, primary contact for the regional market manager and industry specific sales personnel. He owns the process in defining the most suitable technical solutions for applications and customers in his area of responsibility.
 
Your Tasks

  • Supports the Industry Manager in preparing and carrying out global sales initiatives and product launches to meet industry growth targets;

  • Implement defined strategic initiatives together with industry specific sales teams;

  • Providing technical support and guidance of the “Customer/Sales” organization in the selection of suitable filter media and fabrication technologies (solutions) offered for the defined markets/ applications;

  • Prepare and carry out training of industry community and customers;

  • Elaborates and shares best practices for multiplication in industry specific sales teams;

  • Creates sales references and support’s the industry manager by multiplying success stories in defined focus regions / markets according to priorities given by the Industry Manager;

  • Analyze industry specific product portfolio and support the industry manager in creating new projects and innovations for profitable growth;

  • Initiates laboratory analyzes and assesses conclusions, reports statistical and analytical summaries for sales support in the respective industry;

  • Support global and regional specific market sensing activities towards the industry and builds-up/consolidates the application know how;

  • Support training and knowledge transfer into Customer/Sales organization to build a global community of professionals associated to the industry.


Requeriments

Education: Strong background in the chemicals or environment industry or technical textiles and/or solid-liquid separation and/or OEM experience is a must. An additional bachelor or master degree in Engineering is an advantage.

  • Strong communication and enthusiasm skills combined with a reliable and independent way of working and self-management

  • You are a team player, flexible, motivated and have analytical and networking skills and enjoy diverse and varied activities;

  • Very good English skills in verbal and written form. Willingness for international travelling is a matter of course.




  • Broad industry, application and filter media expertise in the defined markets; Strong problem-solving ability; Proven skills in cross-thinking; Ability to think creatively and innovatively; Overview of defined market segments and customer base

  • Customer & service orientation, pro-active person with a strong business acumen

  • Knowledge and experience in managing industrial B2B filtration markets and customers;

  • Strong decision making and transparent communication skills;

  • Demonstrated ability to cooperate in international, cross-functional teams and to build an industry network beyond direct reporting lines;
