As an IT auditor, you will play a key role in auditing and advising our clients in the areas of IT systems and IT security. Work with industry leaders from the banking and insurance sectors and actively shape the IT risk management of our clients.
Your contribution to KPMG
  • Perform IT audits, including identification of IT-based controls and process risks, and testing of these controls
  • Work with clients to identify and understand the relevant IT environments and IT controls
  • Test the effectiveness of client-specific processes in the areas of authorization management, administrator activities, software development and IT operations for various IT systems and IT landscapes
  • Check whether the client has implemented industry standards and regulatory requirements in areas such as outsourcing, business continuity management, protection of critical data or cyber measures
  • Apply your knowledge to provide strategic advice to your clients during the implementation of IT control environments, to improve IT governance and IT risk management
This is what makes you successful
  • Bachelor's degree in business informatics, computer science or a related field
  • Interest in IT systems, IT governance, IT in general, cybersecurity and regulatory issues in banking and insurance
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to mediate complex issues between different stakeholders
  • Familiarity with MS Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint) is an advantage and initial experience with frameworks such as ITIL, COBIT or standards such as ISO/IEC-27001 is a plus
  • Excellent knowledge of English, very good knowledge of German is an advantage
